Every soul has a lot of suffering to dole out or to self-inflict at one's own discretion. Beware a failure to ration it out over time and among many, lest you otherwise loose an endless and spiteful longing on one poor and undeserving soul.

And if you are interested in being true do not foster such an illusory concept as a soul. Such a thing is generated for the sole purpose of feeding an entity you need nothing to do with.
